Senior Backend Engineer Production (m,f,x)

The role

Supply Chain Management ( SCM) is one of the core domains powering HelloFresh with the Fulfillment Alliance at its heart.

Within Fulfillment the Production Team focuses on the digital systems that enable efficient production processes orchestrating how ingredients and components come together to create the final HelloFresh box. We develop the technology backbone that ensures our production operations run smoothly reliably and flexibly.

The role

As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Production Team youll play a key role in shaping and scaling the systems that power the operational processes behind every HelloFresh box.

Youll be part of a cross-functional team developing backend services that orchestrate real-time production and fulfillment workflows primarily using Python and C# / .NET within our ServiceStack-based architecture .

Youll collaborate closely with engineers product managers and operations experts to translate real-world production challenges into elegant efficient and resilient software solutions.

This is a hands-on role where youll design build and operate systems that have a direct impact on how HelloFresh fulfills customer orders every day.

What youll do

• Design develop and maintain backend services powering HelloFreshs production systems .
• Work primarily with Python and C# / .NET leveraging our ServiceStack-based service architecture .
• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle from implementation to deployment and ongoing operations following DevOps and CI / CD principles.
• Collaborate closely with a cross-functional agile team including product frontend data and operations to deliver impactful production solutions.
• Contribute to system reliability scalability and performance improvements.
• Participate in architectural discussions and help refine our technical direction as we continue to evolve our production technology.
• Mentor team members share knowledge and advocate for best engineering practices across the team.
