Key Responsibilities : Identify New Business Opportunities : Research and seek out new suppliers through cold calling, cold emailing, and using LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Negotiate and Close Deals : Lead negotiations with potential suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and agreements that align with the company's goals (footwear and apparel brands, multibrand fashion retailers - e-com and offline retail). Market Research : Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new product lines or categories for potential sourcing. Build and Maintain Supplier Relationships : Develop long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure ongoing access to high-quality products at competitive prices. Collaborate with Internal Teams : Work closely with the Sales and Operations Teams. What You Bring : Experience in buying or sales – ideally 3-5 years, preferably in the B2B sector and / or the fashion industry. Professionals with a strong sales background, especially those interested in the fashion and off-price sectors, are highly encouraged to apply—even if you are new to buying! Success in a dynamic environment : You are skilled at working in a fast-paced, target-driven setting and successfully closing deals. Strong negotiation skills : Your ability to act independently and negotiate effectively leads to optimal results for the company. Technical Know-How : Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM software such as Pipedrive, along with other sales tools. Data-Driven Mindset : You are skilled in using data to inform decisions & ensure strategic and effective purchasing.
