System Administrator

About us Energize Tech is searching for a System Administrator for a global, well-established organisation. We are seeking a motivated and experienced System Administrator who thrives on challenges and has a passion for IT! Tasks

• System and Network Administration : o Monitor and manage virtual servers running on Microsoft Server 2016-2022 and VMware. o Oversee networks, databases, and production-related IT systems. o Administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment and the Microsoft M365 platform.
• Incident Management and 2nd Level Support : o Handle IT tickets related to incidents and changes, providing timely solutions. o Offer technical support at the 2nd level for complex issues.
• System Monitoring and Maintenance : o Continuously monitor systems for anomalies and potential issues. o Perform regular maintenance tasks, including software updates and patches.
• Security Management : o Implement and monitor security policies using Microsoft Defender and SIEM tools. o Respond to security incidents and conduct risk assessments to ensure system integrity.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery : o Ensure regular backups and develop comprehensive disaster recovery strategies.
• Documentation and Reporting : o Create reports on system performance, outages, incidents, and SLA compliance. o Maintain clear documentation on processes, systems, and configurations. Profile
• Fluent in both German and English (mandatory).
• Proven experience with Windows Server, Microsoft infrastructure, M365, Azure Intune, and VMware.
• Strong background in 2nd line support and incident management. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
