In this role you will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, corporate strategy, internal controls, audits, stakeholder communications, team management, and financial regulation compliance.
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years’ experience in the similar role, and work experience in international companies is a plus.
TYPE : Full-time, Initially 1 year contract (There is potential for extension)
WORKING HOURS : 9 : 00-17 : 00 from Monday to Friday
SALARY : €150k gross + bonus and benefits (including company car)
LOCATION : Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Accounting & Finance Director Main Responsibilities :
- Lead corporate strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize liabilities
- Manage international tax matters
- Drive business planning with financial insights
- Oversee
- Enhance controls to mitigate risks and improve efficiency
- Liaise with Big Four audit firms for annual audits
- Communicate with stakeholders to resolve financial issues
- Mentor and manage the accounting and finance team
- Provide training and set performance goals
- Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Develop policies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
