Hauptaufgaben

Follows established procedures in receiving, checking, verifying, sorting, and classifying materials and equipment by stock numbers, size, classification, and condition. Work is usually performed either in a warehouse or property reutilization and disposal facility. Incumbent performs as part of the LBE Unit Induction which entails the Transfer of Inventory and Identification of Materiel (Condition, Damages, etc.) at remote and dispersed locations.

Performs work of receiving, separating, dismantling, sorting, and packing a variety of materials, equipment. Reviews documents to assure correct item identification, quantity, and condition, and report significant discrepancies to Hand-Receipt Holder or supervisor for resolution. May use hand and power tools to prepare supplies and equipment for shipment to SAE, following detailed and established procedures. Assists in inventory as required. Receives copy of inventory listing, counts designated items, and records counts. Performs second count automatically in accordance with established procedures. Receives third count inventory listing of items to verify recounts.

Moves pallet to holding area until items are shipped. Ensures documentation is properly filled out and included on each box. Warehouses items until transported to storage or maintenance activity. Receives items returned from the maintenance repair activity, verifies amounts and visually checks that repairs are adequate for reissue of item. Packages items for return to warehouse inventory. Assures proper accountability by correctly documenting the status of materials, number returned to stock, and number of items disposed of as unserviceable. Assures documentation will support audit trail for inventory discrepancies.

Operates a variety of forklifts capable of lifting loads weighing up to 10,000 pounds to move, load, unload, stack or unstuck palletized goods, boxes, crafts, merchandise, materials, and supplies from one location to another; drives up to 1 ton motor vehicle.

Performs other duties as assigned.

E&T Level I : 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below.

E&T Level III and above : No additional experience required.

E&T Level III und hoeher : Keine zusaetzlich Erfahrung erforderlich.

Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.

Innerbetriebliche Arbeitnehmer, die bereits 1 Jahr im gleichen oder aehnlichen Taetigkeitsbereich beschaeftigt sind, qualifizieren fuer den naechst hoeheren Bezahlungsgrad.

Experience A : Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.

Erfahrung A : Allgemeine Buerotaetigkeit z. B. Computeranwendung, Buchfuehrung, Inventuren, Telefon- oder Organisationsarbeit oder Kassierertaetigkeit.

• Bewerber müssen den Führerschein Klasse B besitzen. / Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL :

Englischlevel B1 und Deutschlevel C1 erforderlich. /

Beschäftigungsbedingungen

Es handelt sich um eine unbefristete Vollzeitstelle (38.5 Std. / Woche). This is a permanent fulltime position (38.5 hrs. / week).

Falls erforderlich, ist der Arbeitnehmer verpflichtet häufig und regelmäßig Dienstreisen innerhalb und außerhalb Deutschlands durchzuführen und regelmäßig Schichtarbeit, Wochenend- und Feiertagsarbeit in erforderlichem Umfang zu leisten.
