The role is responsible for developing and completing regional marketing strategy, supporting revenue enablement and delivering measurable business impact for Emerson and its Business Units. They will undertake strategic analysis, coordinate content marketing, positioning, value messaging and advertising, lead all aspects of our digital and social presence (campaigns, event planning, press and publication relations), all with a steadfast commitment to exceptional customer experience across Events, Digital and Print.

Through a close relationship with sales, they will help in increasing brand awareness, elevating sales enablement impact, driving marketing leads to sales opportunities and growing market participation.

In this role, your responsibilities will be :

  • Design and complete fully integrated marketing and sales enablement campaigns, supervising the marketing message and event strategies to ensure brand awareness, experience and traction to achieve growth in customer acquisition, Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) management and conversion to Sales Qualified Opportunities.
  • Plan, implement and elevate Social Media presence in DACH.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Marketing to successfully handle messaging approaches for reputation and brand development in the DACH region, covering 'owned', 'paid' & 'earned' media.
  • Own the Customer Experience and delivery of business goals by producing and coordinating DACH events, customer facing initiatives, publications and public relations.
  • Build relationships with the key collaborators in Europe Leadership team and in country including country Marketing, Product Marketing and Marketing Communications Team members.
  • Contribute to Search engine optimisation (SEO) and to ensure smooth customer experience through the learn, specify and procure journey.
  • Help craft the Digital Strategy and evolution of our marketing technology stack and information management processes.
  • Manage high level partnerships with events & booth builder companies, solutions providers, marketing agencies, Press & PR Agencies.
  • Support Emerson Exchange EMEA with planning, sales engagement and event coordination.
  • Represent Emerson Marketing in Customer Experience programs and initiatives.
  • Actively manage and develop team members through; coaching, mentoring, training, performance review, feedbacks & development plans.

You use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions. You quickly and decisively take actions in fact-changing, unexpected situations. You navigate the political complexities of the organization easily.

For this role you will need :

  • Proven experience in managing marketing operations in a BB and high tech environment.
  • Proven track record of Marketing Strategy development and deployment, Digital Marketing, Audience Nurturing, marketing Analytics and Metric driven performance leadership, eCommerce, Event Management, Brand positioning, PR, Press and Social Media experience.
  • Experience in Sales enablement to build funnels, lead generation and sales conversion.
  • Outstanding management and analytical skills.
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn and ability to inspire and share your passion.
  • Exceptional presentations and communication skills to lead down / up in a matrix organization.
  • German and English fluency to business standard essential.
  • Willingness to travel (approx. %).
  • Home office policy – day per week.
  • Preferred qualifications to set you apart :

  • Marketing degree or associated qualifications, MBA advantageous.
  • Experience in leading project teams, with clear and meticulous planning and execution.
