Bachelor/ Master Thesis: Methane leak localization from ambient data (f/m/x)

- Research the feasibility of pin pointing methane leaks based on ambient data gathered over time within the surroundings
- Evaluate the influence of factors such as indoors vs outdoors, wind direction, gas dispensation etc.
- Propose a system that accurately locates methane leaks
- Use any tools at your disposal from classical data analytics to AI models
- Implement a prove of concept of the system and put it to the test at one of our customer’s sites
- Find actual methane leaks with your solution and make a your personal contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions

Requirements
Skills & experience you will need
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Software engineering, Environmental engineering, Measurement technology or a related field
- Experience in data analysis & software development
- At least one previous experience in a high-paced startup environment
- Given only high level requirements, able to plan and work autonomously while staying strongly aligned with your team
