Stellenbeschreibung

Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue costs and program budgets and actual expenditures;

Identify project budget and schedule;

Monitor coordinate and control projects;

Payment transactions (supplier payments and payments for employee expenses);

accounts receivable (invoicing the customer and tracking of incoming payments);

Control and reconciliation of general ledger and subledger accounts;

Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (HGB and IFRS);

Optimization of internal financial processes and the reporting and controlling system;

Carrying out financial postings and financial controls for turnover and costs;

Support in the forecasting and budget process;

Communication and collaboration with internal and external partners in all accounting matters;

Assistance in the preparation and submission of local tax audits and tax returns.

Qualifications :

You have at least 3 years of professional experience in accounting in an international environment;
You have previously completed a degree in economics with a focus on finance and accounting or a comparable qualification;
Knowledge of local German GAAP and tax knowledge
You are familiar with working with Excel and accounting systems;
You enjoy working in a team and have no problems communicating in English in a dynamic and international environment;
This position requires a high degree of responsibility reliability and attention to detail;
Your way of working is characterized by a handson mentality a structured working style and high quality standards.

Additional Information :

The position is to be filled in Darmstadt or Bremen.
