The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.
The Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE) at the University of Luxembourg brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences.
People from across 20 disciplines are working within the Faculty . Along with the disciplinary approach a very ambitious interdisciplinary research culture has been developed. The faculty's research and teaching focuses on social, economic, political and educational issues with the common goal of contributing to an inclusive, open and resourceful society.
Your role
- Managing internal and external communications, ensuring consistency with the University's brand and messaging
- Coordinating press releases, newsletters, and digital content to promote the Faculty's activities, achievements, and research projects
- Supporting the organization of events, conferences, and outreach activities
- Acting as a liaison between the Faculty and the University communication team to ensure effective collaboration
- Managing the Faculty's web and social media presence
Your profile
Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in institutional or corporate communication, preferably in academia or research institutionsA degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related fieldExceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in French and / or German at a minimum B2 level is required. Knowledge of Luxembourgish is considered a strong asset.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAnalytical skills and attention to detail, sense of initiative, responsibility, and ability to prioritizeExperience with digital content creation and communication tools (WordPress, SharePoint, Adobe Suite)A proactive and team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skillsWe offer
