Mediobanca is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst 1 to join our M&A Advisory team in Frankfurt.

As a member of our team, you will work in an international environment alongside our M&A Advisory professionals, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the M&A process and deal exposure on an international level. Based in Frankfurt, you will work in a highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment and become an integral part of our team.

Duties include but may not be limited to :

Conduct comprehensive financial statement analyses, valuations, and develop financial models

Perform due diligence, research, analyses, and documentation for the origination and execution of transactions

Prepare client presentations, deal memoranda, management presentations, and marketing materials

Conduct company and industry analyses, and create detailed overviews

Participate in client meetings and management sessions

Support client relationship development by understanding clients’ needs and challenges

Monitor and analyze financial markets and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations

Previous internship experience within M&A advisory and / or related fields

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team under tight deadlines and handle pressure with attention to detail

Outstanding academic record (bachelor’s or master’s degree from a top-tier university / business school), with preference for a degree in accounting, economics, or finance

Strong analytical, accounting, and numerical skills

Proven ability to take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks

Very good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Fluent written and spoken German & English are essential
