About the client and role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Director to lead the development, execution, and delivery of utility-scale battery energy storage projects. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple BESS projects through the full lifecycle.
• Define project goals, success criteria, and delivery strategies.
• Build and lead multidisciplinary project teams including engineering, procurement, construction, permitting, finance, and operations.
• Manage external contractors, consultants, and technology providers.
• Maintain proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders (Utilities, regulators, landowners, community groups)
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align project execution with business objectives.
• Resolve issues and implement corrective actions to maintain project performance.
