Job Content :

Proximus Luxembourg SA offers an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join its legal, regulatory, and corporate affairs team.

You will be responsible for handling legal issues and negotiating contracts with professional clients in the ICT and Telecommunications sector.

Specifically, you will oversee regulatory monitoring, provide counsel to management and teams related to the PSF support domain, and offer legal advice and recommendations to internal clients to anticipate and mitigate legal risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, particularly in the PSF support sector and market practices, mainly in the fields of new technologies and DORA.

Profile :

• You hold a law degree (Master's in law or LL.M.) or equivalent experience
• Required experience : at least 2 years of relevant experience gained in a company or law firm
• A strong understanding of products and ecosystems in the digital, telecommunications, and ICT industries
• Excellent knowledge of commercial contract law (Luxembourgish and European)
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework for Professionals of the Financial Sector (PSF) support
• Fluent in French and English (especially legal English) required
• Ability to synthesize information and draft effectively in French and English
• Strong interpersonal skills. A strong desire to learn and progress in the legal field
• Exceptional analytical skills and a strong pragmatic mindset to meet the needs of internal clients
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and an appetite for innovative digital or new technology topics
• Autonomous and comfortable working across functions, with intellectual agility and the ability to engage with various stakeholders, allowing you to adapt to your environment and communicate effectively
• Ability to translate complex data or ideas into meaningful insights and appropriate recommendations in written reports.
