Work with transaction originator and portfolio manager to underwrite new deals being involved in the whole process from deal screening through to deal execution.
Build investment cash flow models for new deals and write investment committee papers.
Manage the deal due diligence process.
Attend site visits and probe construction progress.
Monitoring of facility agreements and other contractual arrangements including compliance with financial covenants and delivery of asset management milestones.
Requirements
Experience in real estate debt financing.
Understanding of credit risks and mitigants for lenders.
Strong familiarity with real estate finance legal documentation.
Good technical knowledge of available transaction security and typical enforcement options.
Strong modelling skills with experience in building, adjusting and updating excel cashflow models.
