About the Role : We are seeking a dynamic European Sales Manager to lead our client’s European market expansion in Building Automation. Our client is a renowned Swiss manufacturer of innovative building automation products, and this unique position is tailored for an entrepreneurial spirit ready to operate independently while driving significant growth.

Key Responsibilities : - Drive the establishment of our client's brand in Europe, focusing on the DACH region and France, with the aim of building a strong market presence.

  • Manage the entire sales process, leveraging your expertise to independently develop strategies that align with corporate goals.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee an inside sales representative, fostering a collaborative environment focused on high performance and motivation.
  • Cultivate relationships with OEMs and distributors, ensuring effective two-step distribution models and maximizing market penetration.
  • Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets, with €500,000 as your first-year goal and sustained growth towards €5 million within five years.
  • Lead the development of our client's German office, establishing operational protocols and a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Report directly to senior management, providing updates on key performance metrics, project milestones, and overall market development progress.

Qualifications : - Proven experience in sales leadership roles, ideally within the Building Automation or related sectors.

  • Strong track record of successfully launching and developing new markets or business lines.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with a clear ability to inspire and motivate teams. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
  • Preferred : - Experience managing sales operations across international markets, particularly in Europe.

  • Background in strategic planning and partner recruitment, especially with OEMs and distributors. - A drive for continuous improvement and innovation in sales practices and processes.
