Job Title : Functional Safety Development Engineer (m / f / d)

Location : Höhenkirchen near Munich

Key Responsibilities :

Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document various GNSS and multisensor related problems.

Contribute and enhance various functional safety products in the existing C codebase following the ISO26262.

Use Matlab and / or Python for data visualization and analysis.

Implement and test mathematical algorithms, including Kalman filters and estimation techniques, in C.

Perform regression testing on multiple datasets to ensure solution stability and integrity.

Work in an international team of leading GNSS and multisensor experts, cooperating with people across the world.

Skills & Experience Required :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Strong mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a process driven development team

Experience in Matlab, Python or a comparable language

Strong communication skills and ability to create clear and detailed technical documentation and presentations

Experience in C software development

Experience with ASPICE and Functional Safety development is a plus

Experience in precise GNSS positioning in the industry or at the university, preferably in Precise Point Positioning (PPP) is a plus

Experience in C++ software development, ideally with software that has real-time requirements is a plus
