ROLE DETAILS

My client is seeking to improve medical treatment every day. They specialise in 3D-printing polymers for medical applications. As part of a wider group, they are globally acting in individual patient treatment. Their machines and processes are already used in several hospitals and medical device manufacturers worldwide.

  • Ecosystem Development : Lead efforts to create an integrated automation solution for additive production of medical devices.
  • Control System Design : Develop, implement, and optimise PLC-based control system software and human-machine interfaces (HMI).
  • Project Leadership : Manage projects independently, including planning, resource allocation, and delivery within timelines.
  • Testing and Deployment : Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and commissioning of new systems to ensure reliability and compliance.
  • Cross-disciplinary collaboration : Work with interdisciplinary teams to define functional requirements and design robust system architectures.
  • External Coordination : Liaise with external partners to align their development contributions with project goals.

    • EXPERIENCE

  • Over 3 years of experience in PLC programming and machine automation.
  • Proficiency in PLC platforms such as Sigmatek, Siemens, Beckhoff, or B&R.
  • Knowledge of robotics and servo control is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with agile development processes and version control systems.

    • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational Background : Degree or apprenticeship in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Work Style : Independent, structured, and quality-driven approach, particularly in medical production settings.
  • Soft Skills : Strong team player with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
