About the Role

My client is seeking dynamic and highly motivated Business Development Managers to join their prestigious team in the exciting and fast-paced Freight Forwarding Industry. This is a unique opportunity to work in a flexible environment with a broad commercial logistics portfolio. The position is remote and due to this can be based anywhere across Germany, locations such as Munich, Nuremberg, and Frankfurt would be preferable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate New Business Opportunities : Actively identify and secure new clients to expand the companies diverse clientele base.
  • Client Relationship Management : Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients to foster continuous business growth.
  • Strategic Planning : Implement strategic plans that align with the company's objectives, focusing on air, ocean and road freight services.
  • Sales and Deal Closing : Efficiently close deals and achieve sales targets to drive the company's growth.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven Sales Track Record : Demonstrated success in sales with a strong ability to close deals.
  • Freight Forwarding Expertise : In-depth knowledge air freight, ocean and road freight services.
  • Industry Experience : Extensive experience in the freight forwarding industry. Candidates with a background in express courier services may not be suitable due to the specific focus on general freight forwarding.
