Your tasks and responsibilities
In frame of this study / thesis following subtasks are be identified. Actual scope of the Masterthesis can be refined to suit the Student’s need :
Identification of behavior of free and dissolved air in hydraulic systems
Hydraulic consumers contribution to air content reduction in the system
Effect of operating conditions on air content in the system
Identification of effects of different levels of air content on system and hydraulic consumers
Study to identify how Air content is varying due to use of the hydraulic system. How is Air introduced / expelled from the system?
How can air content be controlled?
Recommendations on equipment / system improvements to cope with varying amounts of air content
Developing a tool for measuring dissolved air content
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time student in the area of Aircraft System Engineering, Hydro / Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or an equivalent field of study
First practical experience in the field of Hydro / Mechanical Systems is desirable
Fluent in English. German is a plus
