What you do
- Translate business requirements into data model designs,
- Create and manage data models in DBT using SQL,
- Develop and optimize ELTs to integrate new data sources and enhance data management in the data warehouse (DWH),
- Collaborate with data analysts on ad-hoc modeling using DBT,
- Assist in data analyst onboarding for DWH (GIT, configuration, tooling),
- Provide support for provisioning cloud resources.
Your skills
Who you are
Data Transformation and Modelling with DBT : Experience in building and maintaining dbt models, managing data pipelines, and ensuring data quality. Proficient in SQL : query optimization and query tuning,Data Ingestion / ELTs and Orchestration : Ability to fetch and prepare data using Python & SQL (or other relevant programming languages). Familiarity with a data orchestration tool like Prefect, Airflow, etc. Familiarity with data ingestion from APIs, databases, and external sources,Cloud Platform Expertise : Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferable, including services like Redshift, S3, EC2, and ECS. Knowledge of best practices for data storage, security, and scalability on AWS,Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Skills : Proficiency in using Terraform to define and provision cloud infrastructure (AWS resources). Ability to create and manage infrastructure declaratively, ensuring version control and reproducibility,CI / CD and Automation (Github Actions) : Implementation of CI / CD pipelines for seamless software development and deployment. Automation of data workflows, reducing manual effort and ensuring efficiency,Continuous Learning : Stay updated with new ELT and stream processing tools and languages to adapt to evolving requirements.To be successful : Understand Common Architectural Patterns, believe in delivering high-quality work and actively implement testing, be adept at quickly understanding intricate information, be a good communicator, both in technical discussions and collaboration, embrace feedback as an opportunity for personal and professional growth.Your Team
