Internal Communications & Intranet Governance Consultant (6–9 Month Project)

Purpose of the Role

Oliver HCP is preparing the global roll-out of its new intranet — envisioned as the single, reliable, and engaging source of information for employees across the organization. To support this transition, we are seeking a consultant who can design and drive the governance, communication strategy, and change adoption required to make the intranet a success.

This role is both strategic and hands-on : the consultant will define governance structures, craft the global and local internal communications plan for 2026, coordinate and coach content owners, and personally create high-quality communications and intranet content. They will also play a key role in designing sustainable operational processes to set the intranet up for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Governance & Operating Model

• Define an intranet governance structure (global → regional → local).
• Identify and onboard content owners; clarify ownership, accountability, and workflows.
• Create operational guidelines for maintenance, publishing, content lifecycle, and quality.
• Recommend long-term operating model (including where the role could sit in the future — HR or Marketing).
