Location : Berlin

As a PR Manager (m / f / d), you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and sharing the story of a dynamic, growing organization. This is a unique opportunity to manage PR activities in-house, collaborate with senior leadership, and develop a solid media network in European markets. You will work under the guidance of Susanne,our COO, gaining exposure to strategic PR decision-making and execution. With the potential to lead or collaborate with an external agency when needed, this role offers flexibility and growth within a supportive, innovative environment.

Your Tasks :

Public Relations Strategy Development & Execution :

Lead and execute the company's PR strategy, aligning with business goals and brand identity.

  • Formulate and implement PR plans to enhance brand awareness and secure positive media coverage.
  • Create and distribute press releases, corporate announcements, and newsletters.

Website Management & Content Creation :

  • Oversee website management and content updates, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to publish news, blog posts, and press releases.
  • Collaborate with design and technical teams to enhance user experience.

    • News Gathering & Media Outreach :

  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Develop relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media professionals across Europe.
  • Proactively pitch story ideas and press releases to secure media coverage.

    • Relationship Building with European Media & External Stakeholders :

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key media outlets and bloggers.
  • Organize press conferences, media briefings, and events.
  • Represent the company at media events and with external stakeholders.

    • Administrative PR & Reporting :

  • Provide administrative support for PR activities, including managing media inquiries and updating media lists.
  • Track and report on PR campaign effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed reports on PR efforts and maintain records of press releases and articles.

    • Agency Evaluation & Interim Solutions :

  • Assess the need for outsourcing PR functions to external agencies.
  • Oversee collaboration with PR agencies, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external PR partners.

    • Crisis Management & Media Relations :

  • Assist in crisis communication efforts and develop a crisis communication plan.
  • Handle urgent media inquiries and navigate sensitive issues with professionalism.

    • Your Profile : Skills :

    Education :  Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience :

    • Proven experience in a PR Manager or Public Relations role.

  • Focus on media relations, website management, and content creation.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years in PR or communications.
  • Strong track record of securing media coverage and successful PR campaigns.
  • General Job Requirements :

    • Expertise in managing PR strategies and building media relationships.

  • Ability to work across multiple communication channels.
  • Effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

    • Skills and Personality :

  • Writing Skills :  Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Communication :  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Website Management :  Experience with CMS tools (e.g., WordPress) and technical team collaboration.
  • Media Relations :  Extensive experience with journalists, editors, and media contacts in Europe.
  • Project Management :  Strong organizational skills for managing multiple PR initiatives.
  • Problem Solving :  Ability to identify PR challenges and devise solutions.
  • Willingness to Travel : For client meetings, site visits, and project execution
