ZIB is the central IT service provider for the justice system in Lower Saxony and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure with around 23,500 clients. Together with our 380 colleagues, we also run numerous digitization projects for a modern justice system.
To strengthen our team in area 2103 - Customer Management Public Prosecutor's Offices, we are looking for a
System administrator
for the technical support of the specialized procedures of the
public prosecutor's offices (f / m / d) Your tasks :
As part of the team, you will support the specialist procedures used by the public prosecutor's offices in Lower Saxony. The focus of your activities is on the :
- Administration of the Linux servers used by the justice system (preferably SLES)
- Independent processing and analysis of faults (2nd and 3rd level support)
- Development and testing of bash scripts
- Creation of program documentation
- Remote computing between the worlds of Windows and LINUX (preferably via MobaXterm)
- Client support in the test and developer environment
- Hardware tests for printers, notebooks and desktop systems
- Support for PDAs for the optional archives of the public prosecutor's offices
- After a training period, assignment of special tasks (e.g. monitoring, supervision of large proceedings)
- Collaboration in innovative IT infrastructure projects for the justice system
Your profile :
You have relevant training as an IT specialist in system integration or a relevant university degree (e.g. computer science) or equivalent skills and experience in a professional environmentYou are familiar with the common technologies in the LINUX areaAs a career starter or career changer, you are interested in the tasks mentioned and the technologies mentioned are not foreign to youWhat else we expect :
