IT Senior Solution Architect (m / w / d)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Looking for an opportunity to tap into cross-functional teams and capabilities? As a Senior IT Manager within our Global IT organization, you will be responsible for supporting the applications across our Finance and Operations portfolio, which provide critical business capabilities across the organization. You will lead our efforts in supporting these applications, delivering value through continuous improvement and mitigating risk by minimizing outages. You will also manage a team of IT analysts responsible for the maintenance and support of these applications and will work with our Managed Service Providers, 3rd party development teams, and other internal teams.This role supports Gilbarco Veeder Root’s Germany business operations.

What you will do :

• Act as a subject matter expert for the Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations applications, providing leadership and support to our managed service providers & system implementors for D365 implementation
• Responsible to drive transformation from legacy applications to cloud-based SaaS ERP platform Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Support VBS (Vontier Business System) culture through consistent participation in daily management and use the VBS toolkit to solve business and process problems and enhance departmental efficiency.
• Provide leadership for business analysis and conducting requirements analysis by working with ERP system implementors
• Drives end-2-end system solution, business process design and architecture for ERP application footprint by collaborating with the system implementor
• Collaborate with the business users and other stakeholders to ensure solution design algins to business requirements
• Drives conference room pilots and user acceptance testing by working with the system implementors
• Responsible for user and system administration of the ERP & other Finance & Operations applications
