Junior Clinical Sales Manager
At Vapotherm, patients and the clinicians that treat them are our total focus. The Area Clinical Sales Manager is directly responsible for promotion of our unique technologies and influencing the best possible experience for patients and care providers in his or her region.
The Area Clinical Sales Manager collaborates with the Vapotherm distribution partners as well as independently during the clinical promotion, sales and education process for Vapotherm products.
He / she interfaces with health care providers in acute care hospitals (NICU, PICU, AICU, ED) and post-acute care hospitals and institutions where Vapotherm may be utilized in the respiratory care process.
He / she secures the growth and correct usage of Vapotherm products at prospective and existing customers. This includes initiating & building sustainable relationships with Customers / Physicians and ensuring superior customer satisfaction.
The position requires a certification or degree and clinical practice experience in respiratory therapy and / or a strong track record in the respiratory medical device industry.
Primary Responsibilities (Bulleted form) :
- Support Country Manager promoting our unique technologies at existing and potential new customer to increase awareness and create demand.
- Planning and carrying out preventive maintenance
- Troubleshooting and provision of bridging devices on site
- On-site trainings to secure and increase utilization at existing accounts via safe and effective use of the therapy
- Delivery and installation of devices
- Support / takeover of customer inquiries when Customer Service is on vacation or sick
- Develop hospital clinical relationships independently
- Provide clinical and product related training to Vapotherm hospital and other end-user customers (hospital) and prospects including formal in-service support.
- Provide scheduled and on-demand support to customers on equipment operation, troubleshooting and clinical best practices.
- Develop, cultivate and maintain relationships with Key Customers, Key Opinion Leaders and Strategic Partners within the territory as a means to obtain and provide technical, professional and managerial support for Vapotherm products.
- Maintain knowledge of key customers, the market, industry trends, competitors, and leading competitive strategies. Report all activities, communications and customer intelligence in Vapotherm’s CRM system.
- Provide feedback to Product Development for improvement to current product and development of new products / extensions.
Shares best practices and innovative ideas that can impact Vapotherm’s overall success.
Attend local and national medical meetings as necessary.
Position Requirements -
- Two years experience in respiratory or critical care or the respiratory medical device preferred but not essential or at least 2 years experience in commercial
- Current knowledge of respiratory therapies
- Demonstrated success influencing clinical use of product in hospital environment, particularly with novel technologies
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written including group presentation skills
- Computer skills including MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and online applications
- English communication skills
- Working from a Home-Office, >
50%- 60% travel visiting clients and customers in Germany
