About the Company : Our client, a leading name in the retail industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Supply Chain Planning to join their team in Bonn.
This role is pivotal to the efficient and effective management of their supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from production to the consumer.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage all aspects of supply chain planning, including production planning, capacity planning, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead a team of supply chain planners, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure the timely delivery of products.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that capacity planning aligns with production schedules.
- Implement and optimize SAP and Excel-based planning tools to enhance supply chain operations.
- Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business goals.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain planning, with a strong background in production and capacity planning.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proven track record of optimizing supply chain processes and driving efficiency.
