Project Manager - North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany - 12-Month Contract
As an essential partner to the biopharmaceutical industry, our client serves a critical function in the drug development process, collaborating with clients from the earliest stages of target identification, through the drug safety testing process and all the way through market approval.
Our client delivers comprehensive, outsourced drug discovery and safety assessment services, as well as manufacturing solutions from biologics production to microbial testing and working with clients to identify, understand, and distinguish viable molecules from those that are not - acting as the bridge between biopharmaceutical companies and the patients who need critical therapies.
And they are looking for a Project Manager to join their team based in West Germany.
Additional responsibilities include :
- Accountable for meeting key project deliverables for safety, financial management, schedule management and scope management across these projects.
- Liasing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Accountable for ensuring projects are compliant with good engineering practices, company policies, regulations, and codes.
- Liaise with Global Engineering / Global EHS / Global Procurement to ensure all are aligned and support project deliverables.
- Leading & supporting the project teams through complex and significant projects.
- Planning and Scheduling - uses planning tools to hold a complex project on schedule and coordinate parallel activities.
Coordinate with facilities, EHS, QA, etc.
- Manage external factors such as planning and inspections.
- Assure that value engineering, constructability reviews and similar processes are effectively utilised to minimise capital expenditures and maximise functional value.
- Risk Management, Identifies and categorises project risks according to impact on scope, budget, and schedule. Generates action plans to mitigate risks.
Consider the potential impact construction and on time performance will have on the business.
Project execution plan Generate and deliver a detailed project execution plan concerning the execution of all aspects of the project.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years’ experience within a Pharmaceutical / GMP environment.
- Ideally English and German speaking.
- Ability to be onsite at least 3 days per week. WFH 2 days per week.
- Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
