Job Description

• To capture the potential ADAS / SDV growth engine, FPT Automotive has decided to create the position of ADAS Technical Specialist which is described below.
• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Technical Specialist to join our dynamic team.

As an ADAS Technical Specialist,

• We are expecting a expertise in leading end-to-end project and program management, with accountability for system requirements gathering, change management, risk and issue resolution and deliverables.
• You will play a pivotal role in the technical proposal, Technology update, development, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge ADAS technologies for ADAS / AD applications.
• You leads end to end product development and management for autonomous driving systems and the give the solution of complex technical issues.
• Your expertise will contribute to enhancing vehicle safety, efficiency, and performance while advancing the forefront of autonomous driving.
• The role is based on mentioned in the Work Location section but will require overseas travel according to business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise :

• Use ADAS knowledge to design and integrate advanced vehicle features.
• Lead technical discussions on next-gen system architecture and solutions.

Algorithm Development :

Lead development of ADAS algorithms for object detection and decision-making.

System Integration :

• Collaborate with teams to integrate ADAS components into vehicle systems.
• Train the team on developing and executing technical plans.

Testing and Validation :

Design and validate ADAS features through testing, then analyze data for improvement.

Problem Solving :

Investigate and resolve ADAS challenges like sensor discrepancies and algorithm inefficiencies.

Requirements

• Stay updated on ADAS trends, industry standards, and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Willing to travel and work on-site as needed.
• Experienced in customer-focused environments with strong communication skills.
• Competent in ADAS / Autonomous Driving architecture, design, and safety compliance.
• Proven track record of 6+ years in the design, development, and implementation of ADAS technologies within the automotive industry.
• Expertise in sensor fusion techniques, computer vision algorithms, machine learning models, and sensor calibration methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C / C++, Python, and MATLAB, and experience with software development tools and platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
