Ferrous Systems is an IT development service and training provider in the Rust programming language. Founded by members of the Rust project, the company engages in all aspects of Rust development and Open-Source sustainability.

Our hallmark product is Ferrocene, the first Rust toolchain for safety- and mission-critical needs.

As a Sales & Account Manager you oversee the daily operations of Ferrous Systems sales department. You are responsible for pursuing new sales opportunities, managing our sales pipeline, maintaining relationships with clients and negotiating deals.

You collaborate closely with our team and take responsibility for achieving our sales goals.

We want you to join our team to :

  • Develop a deep understanding of our products & services and effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Understand the needs of our clients.
  • Serve as the face of the company to clients & external partners.
  • Actively acquire leads, manage, and organize a sales pipeline.
  • Supervise, negotiate and close deals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities in our CRM system (Pipedrive).
  • Collaborate closely with project management, business development & marketing to ensure allignment.
  • Assist in creating sales & marketing material.

Apply to this position if you have :

  • A proven track record in a customer-facing technical sales role (e.g., sales engineer, technical sales specialist, sales executive).
  • A technical background (e.g., some basic knowledge of Rust) is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with customers from the automotive, industrial, or medtech industries is beneficial.
  • Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating deals with clients.
  • An outgoing and proactive personality with professional networking experience.
  • Good interpersonal skills for closely collaborating with our internal team.
  • Excellent English communication skills verbal and written, with German and / or other languages being beneficial.
