Key Responsibilities :

Architect and implement complex, high-performance frontend systems with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and exceptional user experience.
Drive technical decision-making by evaluating and adopting modern frontend frameworks, tools, and best practices to improve development efficiency and code quality.
Collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend components with APIs, backend logic, and user-centric workflows.
Optimize and evolve frontend architecture , including API consumption, state management, and performance tuning for large-scale applications.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing, best practices, and continuous learning.
Stay ahead of the curve by researching and advocating for emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to push the boundaries of frontend development.

Technical Skills :

Extensive experience with TypeScript / JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks, particularly React . Strong expertise in component-based architecture and state management.

Deep understanding of CSS methodologies (e.g., styled-components, CSS-in-JS, Tailwind) and responsive design principles to create scalable, maintainable styles.

Proven experience with testing strategies and frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library, ensuring high-quality, resilient frontend code.

Strong grasp of frontend best practices , including performance optimization, accessibility (a11y), and security considerations.

Experience architecting complex frontend systems , including API consumption, caching strategies, and scalability challenges.

Bonus : Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite), CI / CD pipelines, and frontend observability tools.

Other Requirements :

Since we are an office-first company we are looking for people who already live or are in the process of moving to Berlin. We do still offer working from home but we expect everyone to come to the office for the majority of the time.
