Your tasks

  • Analysis of the agreed functional flows between our "Situation picture generation" component and the "Communication via NATO Tactical Data Links" component
  • Analysis of the existing interfaces of both components with regard to functional coverage
  • Creation of activity diagrams in UML, which describe how the functionalities are divided between the two components and which interfaces are to be used
  • Identification of necessary functional enhancements in our "situation picture creation" component
  • Creation of additional requirements for this component using the requirements engineering tool IBM DOORS
  • Implementation of an adapter to integrate the two components
  • Integration support when using the adapter

Your profile

  • Completed studies in computer science, software engineering or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in the design of SW architectures using the UML modeling language
  • Experience in programming with C++ in a LINUX development environment is required
  • Knowledge in the use of common tools for software development is required
  • Experience with the UML tool Cameo Systems Modeler is desirable
  • Experience with technologies for message distribution between applications such as publish-subscribe message brokers / middleware (e.g. RTI DDS) is desirable
  • Experience with the implementation of proprietary TCP interfaces is desirable
  • Language skills in English (business fluent) and German (proficient)
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • A responsible and independent way of working
  • The ability to work in a team and good communication skills
