Your mission

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented  Quality Inspector  to join our team in Berlin.

This role is essential to ensuring that orthopedic implants and surgical instruments meet required quality and compliance standards. The QC team operates as a separate function within the Supply Chain department, ensuring independent quality oversight.

This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a structured environment, performing routine tasks with high precision. This role requires on-site presence in our production facility—remote work is not possible.

  • Perform incoming quality inspections on raw materials, implants and surgical instruments from suppliers ensuring compliance with defined acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct in process quality control inspections (labeling, packaging, and wrapping) in accordance with quality standards.
  • Verify manufacturing and inspection reports to ensure that all regulatory and safety requirements are met.
  • Identify and report any defects, deviations or compliance risks and initiate necessary corrective actions e.g. rework.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records in compliance with our Quality Management System. Conduct or participate in training sessions for production teams when process changes are implemented in accordance with ISO 13485 and maintain training records.

  • Oversee and maintain warehouse temperature and pest control while ensuring accurate database management.
  • Work closely with the quality and supply chain teams to ensure strict adherence to internal quality standards.
  • Help organize and maintain records of inspections.

Your profile

  • Experience in quality control, production, or another structured work environment, preferably in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automotive). Alternatively, vocational training or hands-on technical work in manufacturing or quality-related fields is valued.
  • Attention to detail and a strong compliance mindset—ability to follow internal standards and report non-conformities.
  • Possess strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools, for efficient data handling and reporting.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks that require focus and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow clear instructions and checklists.
  • Ability to read, understand, and document quality-related processes in English (all QMS and supplier documents are in English).
