Radar Design Engineer (m / f)
Located in Bissen / Luxembourg
Your responsibilities would include :
- Leading all design aspects of the internal project from startup phase to final release (and launch if applicable)
- Managing the BOM and documenting the manufacturing requirements in a router with associated drawings and specifications, in close collaboration with the System Engineers
- Ordering of technical documentation, new materials and new products which may help the current development activities
- Requesting and leading the necessary design reviews
- Gathering, analyzing and amending specifications and procedures
- Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure that the application development meets all component performance, quality and manufacturing requirements
- Internal design timing plan and regular coordination
- Documenting and issuing tickets for identified issues (WPD’s)
- Providing input to system engineers for Gate Reviews
- Coordinating / following up with external suppliers
- Following the Project Structure Plan (PSP) and all defined company processes
You would need to meet the following requirements :
Mechanical or electrical Engineering degreeMinimum 2 years’ experience as CAD design engineerExperience in :managing BOM (bill-of-materials) in SAP Material Master, and SAP EasyDMSVersion control software SVN2D / 3D CAD (AutoCAD and CATIA are musts, NX or PTC Creo Parametric are considered added strengths)Experience with automotive EDI systems would be considered a strengthGood understanding of project managementGood working knowledge of office softwareExcellent communication, analytical and team working skillsGood organizational skillsFluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is considered an assetWhy would you want to work with us?
