Project description :

To support our team at our customer in the radio and communications sector, we are looking for a Software Developer (m / f / x) Java for a permanent position at K-tronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks :

  • Development and maintenance of software modules for distributed systems with server backend and application frontend
  • Monitoring these modules with the help of technologies such as Prometheus / Grafana
  • Introduction of new functions, such as the introduction of new classifiers or other algorithms into the overall system
  • Use and further improvement of a development environment with a continuous integration and deployment pipeline
  • Creation of automated system tests including rollout on virtualized test systems
  • Agile software development using the Scrum methodology

Skills :

  • Completed technical studies (computer science, electrical engineering or comparable) or completed training as an IT specialist with relevant professional experience
  • Several years of professional experience in the development of client-server applications
  • Good knowledge of Java, C# and / or C++
  • Know-how in object-oriented programming and with Java design patterns
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment as well as unit testing
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux
  • High quality awareness and good communication skills
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally another plus :
  • Good knowledge of German
  • Experience with the following tools / technologies : Grafana, Prometheus, Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes
