The dual study program at Mercedes-Benz not only provides you with a sound academic education and practical experience, but also an essential corporate experience.

The campus model allows you to experience the Group up close! In joint training courses and seminars, most of which take place in Sindelfingen, you will come together with students from all plants.

Mechatronics engineers work at the interface between mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology and IT.

You will spend the theoretical phases at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart. Mathematical, scientific and electrotechnical fundamentals, mechanical engineering, computer science and mechatronic systems are examples of the in-depth specialist knowledge you will be taught in theory.

The Electromobility and Vehicle Systems Engineering course combines content from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, information technology and business administration, thus creating a solid basis for complex, interdisciplinary interrelationships.

These fundamentals are supplemented by specific content such as energy storage, safety in high-voltage systems, electromobility technology and systems and lightweight construction.

During the practical phases, you will gain experience in areas such as production planning, testing, development or in the search for technological solutions for the usability of fuel cells and hybrid drives.
