Compliance Counsel Semi Senior Analyst

Area : In the HUB of Uruguay, we have the Financial Reportingarea, which is responsible for ensuring that financial statementsare completed appropriately, in compliance with local andinternational regulations. Monthly, quarterly, and annual reportsare prepared, collaborating with Local Finance, Controlling, andthe parent company. At the end of the month, all information isgathered from the SAP System modules, and then we report ourFinancial and Operational versions in our official system.MainObjective of the Position : Support BASF's divisions in compliancerelated matters and offer modern solutions tailored to the needs ofthe business while ensuring a high level of customer orientationwith cooperative, efficient and future-oriented services.MainTasks : Being responsible for providing legal & complianceservices related to local or international standard legal,compliance and IP inquiries based on templates and / orplaybooks.Being responsible for preparing, reviewing, editing,negotiating and commenting on confidentiality sales and purchaseagreements and other standard contract types on the basis ofplaybooks and defined negotiation limits, as well as in cooperationwith the legal and patent departments.Ensure contract-relatedreview and approval processes as well as legal contract managementof existing contracts, the creation and maintenance of standardcontract templates and and knowledge sharing.Provide support in thefield of intellectual property law on IP law issues and processes,in compliance reviews (including but not limited to conductingcompliance due diligence) and legal research, as well as in ad-hoclegal consulting relating to other contract types.Have directinteractions with our global legal, compliance and businessdepartments relative to standard contracts and supportrequests.Requirements : Education : Degree in law or a comparablecourse of study related to business law.Working Experience : Minimumof 2 - Maximum of 5.Language Skills : Advanced English, capabilityin another European language (French, Italian, etc.) isvalued.Technical Skills : Experience in the legal sector orcompliance sector or commercial contract management, user knowledgeof legal databases and standard IT applications.Soft Skills : Goodcommunication skills to maintain constant contact withclients / stakeholders as well as other areas of the Hub andBASF.What We Offer : Living BASF means being part of a culture thatfocuses on people and their professional and personal growth.
