We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Engineer to join our team in Gerlingen Germany. As a Test Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing processes.

  • Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts to identify software defects and issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop effective testing strategies
  • Perform manual and automated testing on various software applications and systems
  • Analyze test results document findings and report bugs to development teams
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve overall software quality
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to increase testing efficiency
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality
  • Monitor and analyze system performance to identify potential issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing technologies

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Selenium Python Java)
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • Experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies
