For the area "Data Centers and Operations in Department D05 - Information / Communication Technology and Medical Technology (IKMT)" we are looking for a

Database Administrator (m / f / d)

Your tasks

Database support (Oracle, SAPDB, MySQL and Postgresql)
Administration / system support for the hospital information system (HIS) server
Design and implementation of database installations and migrations
Ensuring the operational operation, administration and management of central systems relating to clinical applications based on databases
Independent implementation of (sub-)projects in the area of infrastructure, including coordination with other organizational units involved
Coordination of external suppliers and manufacturers

Your profile

Completed studies in computer science or a comparable field (Bachelor's degree) or successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist or comparable experience and knowledge

Good knowledge and experience in the area of standard databases (focus : Oracle DB and Oracle RAC)

Knowledge and experience in Windows Unix / Linux administration an advantage

Knowledge and experience with database backup (RMAN) and database migrations

Knowledge and experience in Windows Unix / Linux administration an advantage

Knowledge of handling storage resources an advantage

Extensive knowledge of the SQL language

Knowledge and experience in the implementation of IT projects an advantage

Ability to work in a team and organizational skills

Initiative, cooperation and communication skills
