Job Description
Purpose of the role :
You will provide support to the VP Finance and be responsible for financial planning and analysis, as well as providing commercial and financial insights to power Omio’s growth.
Main tasks and responsibilities :
Own the group planning process; annual budget and forecasting, process improvement and automation
Provide analysis and tell the story of the budget / forecast to senior management
Build relationships with key stakeholders across the group to support, challenge and deliver on Omio’s targets
Autonomously perform additional business investigations to provide additional insights on business performance, helping drive better business decisions
Embed a culture of partnership between the business and finance to identify and deliver opportunities for scaling the business
Work with the business to produce high quality output that can effectively tell the story of Omio’s performance, drawing out data-driven, valuable insights, that can be used to drive better execution
Work closely with Operational Finance, Group Accounting and Business Operations to track risks, opportunities and expected outturn
Grow and develop the FP&A function as the business scales

Proven experience in FP&A & / or Business Partnering / Controlling
Ability to use Excel, Google Sheets and SQL (BigQuery)
Analytical, focused on quality, accuracy and execution
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work at all levels of the organisation
Ability to prioritise effectively and motivated by a high-growth environment with its associated challenges and opportunities
Excellent communicator able to influence stakeholders
Passionate about building and optimising processes
University degree (BA minimum)
Fluent in English, German (nice to have)
A “can do” attitude and initiative to take ownership and drive projects
Autonomous, hands-on if required, and the ability to deal with ambiguity
