About the role :

Are you a passionate leader looking for a challenge that truly makes a difference? As the Director (Logistics) Operations for our main distribution centre in Sevenum, you will spearhead our biggest logistics operations. With responsibility for a team of over 1,100 employees, you will lead with purpose, innovate with precision, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will set the standard for success in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

About your tasks :

• Leadership and Development : Lead and mentor a diverse team of over 1,100 employees, including department leads, shift managers, team leaders, and operational staff, fostering growth and development at every level.
• Oversee Daily Operations Across Shifts : Plan and coordinate staffing requirements, set productivity targets, and ensure their achievement through close collaboration with department leads and their teams.
• Process Optimization : Conduct thorough analyses of logistics workflows, track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as SLAs, turnaround times, and cost per order, and drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support Organizational Growth : Anticipate and address growth demands by utilizing forecasts for proactive planning. Spearhead capacity planning and efficiency initiatives to support scalable site operations.
• Strategic Collaboration : Partner with senior leadership to implement long-term logistics strategies, ensuring alignment with future business objectives and growth demands.
