IT Business Analyst

Arendt Regulatory & Consulting (ARC) is Arendt’s dedicated regulatory consulting arm composed of diverse and experienced professionals with a strong background in regulatory and business consultancy.

Our 120 experts offer regulatory consulting and advisory services and assistance to an international and sophisticated client base across multiple industries. This includes a range of services from the classic regulatory consulting, working with funds, their asset managers and asset servicers on the practical implementation of rules and regulations, to topics such as risk management, fund distribution, fund governance, and compliance of Luxembourg regulated entities.

ARC responds to the growing needs of clients with a practical yet legally effective approach to regulatory change management and other regulatory matters.

Given the ongoing development of our firm, we are currently recruiting :

IT Business Analyst

The IT business analyst will work closely with the project manager to support clients on their IT transformation strategy and its implementation.

Your role

Translate business needs into viable technical solutions

Collect, analyse, and document requirements through workshops

Validate requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility

Support API‑driven and integration‑heavy projects (REST / SOAP, microservices, middleware)

Draft, run and automate test cases

Coach and mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge‑sharing and best practices

Collaborate closely with project managers to deliver on time and on budget

Your profile

Education & Experience

Masters in IT Engineering or Computer Sciences

2-3 years of relevant Luxembourg experience

Technical Skills

Experience around API development (REST / SOAP)

Hands on experience on Python

Hands on experience in JSON / XML & API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)

Strong SQL & data‑structure knowledge

Nice to Have

Exposure to system integration, microservices, or middleware (MuleSoft, WSO2, Azure Logic Apps) is a plus

Experience with financial systems or reg‑tech

Familiarity with DevOps / cloud integration patterns

An interest in cybersecurity is a plus

Soft Skills

Quick learner eager to grow on new platforms

Analytical and detail oriented

Proactive, client‑focused communicator

Languages

Fluent in English and French
