Then come and join our global team as Senior Manager (w / m / d) Cybersecurity in the central quality department to support our business areas, business lines, business horizontals and technology units as well as country organizations in the development, analysis and application-oriented interpretation of international and national standards, as well as relevant laws and guidelines regarding in-vivo medical devices and in-vitro diagnostic products.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities :

  • You are the first point of contact for our organizational units and country organizations when it comes to evaluating products and processes from an information security perspective.
  • You work closely with other units to develop our cyber security quality strategy and ensure its integration into our processes.
  • You advise and support the integration of IT standards, security requirements and customer needs into business projects and lead initiatives.
  • You ensure legal clarity for market access by interpreting standards and laws and actively participating in industry association, technical committee and standards organization working groups.
  • You maintain internal databases and take responsibility for regular coordination meetings to ensure transparency and effective collaboration between teams.
  • You are responsible for delivering internal information security training and creating global policies.

Your qualifications and experience :

  • You have a degree in computer science, engineering or natural sciences.
  • You have many years of professional experience with the safety regulations of several countries (EU, U.S.A., PRC, etc.), preferably in the MedTech sector, as well as proven experience in project management.
  • Do you already have many years of in-depth professional experience and other qualifications in this field, but not a university degree? Then we look forward to your application.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of relevant international IT security standards, including the ISO 270xx series, NIST and ideally the IEC 60601 series.
  • You have participated in working groups of associations and standards bodies, ideally leading activities including meetings with policy makers.
  • Ideally you will be a certified ISO 27001 auditor.

  • You can analyze complex issues and translate the needs of different stakeholders into effective compliance solutions.
  • Your working style is purposeful, you are engaging and able to professionally lead teams with diverse cultures and personalities.
  • Your effective communication skills are complemented by fluency in English, enabling you to deliver presentations at a high level.You also have a good knowledge of German.
  • Your personal strengths include a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and service orientation.
  • You are prepared to travel worldwide (max. 20%)
  • You are passionate about learning - you are highly motivated to continuously improve processes and are open to change.
