SolarCleano is an ambitious start-up based in Luxembourg. You will be part of a young and dynamic research and development team with responsibilities from day one with great freedom to manage your projects in a fast-paced environment. We specialize in Solar Panel Cleaning Robots that significantly increase the efficiency of their installations.

We design and build autonomous cleaning robots, combining advanced robotics, automation, and embedded systems. Our robots operate in real-world industrial environments, and we are expanding our team to ensure top-level customer support and reliability across hardware and software.

Your role

Under the supervision of the Head of Purchasing, the Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for managing orders and stock to prevent any supply chain disruptions while optimizing the company's cash flow:

• Order Management: Confirm orders according to agreements negotiated by the family buyers, ensuring proper follow-up and configuring Odoo for the entire technical scope.
• Tracking and Follow-ups: Track orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely product availability, working closely with the buyer to optimize processes.
• Cash Flow Optimization: Ensure effective management of expenditures by adjusting purchase timing to optimize the company’s cash flow while ensuring no supply chain disruptions.
• Continuous improvement: Propose improvements to processes and work methods based on acquired experience and implement these improvements autonomously with the manager's approval.
• Support to buyers: Assist SolarCleano and Fallprotec buyers based on the destination of purchased products, sharing necessary information and ensuring efficient order management.
• Back-up Role: Serve as a back-up for Fallprotec’s Purchasing Coordinator and vice versa for SolarCleano, ensuring continuity of service.

Required Skills

Must-have:

• Around 5 years of experience in a similar role with solid experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in procurement and stock management tools, particularly Odoo
• Strong understanding of financial management and cash flow control
• Ability to manage priorities autonomously and foster strong relationships with suppliers
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with international teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to propose solutions
• Fluent in French and English (spoken & written)

Career Prospects:

The Purchasing Coordinator will have the opportunity to evolve within 2-3 years to a mixed role of Purchasing Coordinator and General Purchases Buyer, with potential future progression to a Technical Buyer role based on capabilities. This evolution will be linked to the ability to optimize procurement processes and implement automatic ordering systems, ensuring smoother and more efficient stock and purchasing management.
