Sales Engineer – Cyber Security

Location : Germany

Intaso is partnering with a top cybersecurity vendor to find a Sales Engineer. You’ll provide pre-sales support, product demos, PoC installations, and drive new business opportunities.

The Role

  • Sales Support and Pre-Sales Engineer role for a leading cybersecurity vendor.
  • Deliver product demos, lead PoCs, and collaborate with sales teams to exceed targets.
  • Support channel partners and resellers with training and product positioning.
  • Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption technologies.
  • Opportunity for global travel to engage with clients and partners.
  • Fluent in German and English required; additional language (French, Italian or Spanish) is a plus but not essential.
  • Home working contract - ideally based in Austria and Germany

  • Sales Support : Assist the sales team to exceed sales targets.
  • Pre-Sales Engagement : Deliver product demos and presentations to customers, partners, and resellers.
  • Opportunity Development : Identify and create new business opportunities with prospects and partners.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) : Lead remote PoC installations to demonstrate product value.
  • Training & Mentorship : Provide training for partners and resellers on product positioning.
  • Collaboration : Work with internal teams to provide product feedback and market insights.
  • Key Requirements

  • Experience : 2-5 years in network security
  • Sales Expertise : Proven track record in pre-sales technical support.
  • Communication Skills : Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Networking & Security Knowledge : Expertise in network security, and cloud security.
  • Languages : Fluent in German and English is required.
  • Travel : Willingness to travel
