Backend Engineer

Location : Berlin + Remote Options

Salary : Up to €80,000 per annum

What you will be doing :

• Working closely with frontend and product on the platform for over 40 million users per month.
• Plan data models and architecture and execute new features from beginning to end.
• Collaborating closely with their infrastructure team in building highly available and reliable services.
• Care for tooling, metrics and other solutions to hold up our content quality to the highest standards.
• Writing, extending and debugging microservices for both existing and planned features

What they need from you :

• Experience working within Golang OR just strong interest to use Golang
• Strong experience in a Backend Engineering role.
• Skills around the Linux command line including basic networking and web technologies
• General knowledge and experience with relational databases.
• Bonus points for familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, Prometheus / Grafana, GCP, Postgres, Cassandra or ElasticSearch.
