Senior Product Manager II, Foundations Alliance (f/m/x)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Foundations Alliance focuses on unleashing developer productivity by building the tools, services, systems, and infrastructure that teams across the company (and in turn, HelloFresh customers) use on a daily basis.

The role

The Foundations Alliance’s mission is to accelerate the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and highly available digital products at HelloFresh.

We do this by providing services and platforms as a product that improve our internal software engineers’ productivity and the reliability of their applications.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager with a focus on providing platform products and components that boost application engineering productivity at HelloFresh.

The ideal candidate is highly passionate about increasing efficiency in the application development process, with a focus on reducing repetitive work and standardization across platforms and brands.

In this role, you will have a large impact on the success of our business : by providing products that address common engineering needs, you enable our engineers to spend more time developing innovative features specific to their domain.

What you’ll do

• Own one of the problem spaces in our development productivity domain, covering e.g. providing shared modules for our applications, or tooling to speed up code integration and testing.
• Develop and communicate product strategy and roadmap for your problem space.
• Partner closely with your engineering leadership counterpart : lead your engineering team collaboratively.
• Discover new product opportunities; validate and prioritize these opportunities based on data to assess impact and effort with appropriate confidence.
• Translate and slice complex changes affecting core development components and processes into meaningful product iterations, enabling the delivery of iterative value to our internal customers.
• Define and monitor the key product success metrics for your domain.
• Contribute to defining our goals, and to the successful delivery of our strategies as part of the Foundation Alliance product team.

What you’ll bring

You are an experienced product manager who is passionate about and familiar with building platform products for technical, internal customers in an agile environment, e.

g. for developer platforms, data and ML platforms, or security platforms.

• You are familiar with application development best practices for mobile and web applications, e.g. code modularization, testing strategies, and continuous integration.
• Ideally, you are familiar with some of the following technologies and tools : GitHub Actions, Grafana, A / B testing tooling (e.

g. Optimizely, Statsig), Kotlin, Swift, React Native

• Your customers are at the heart of all you do : you understand and anticipate engineers’ needs and have applied user insights to develop internal platforms before.
• You are familiar with goal setting and strategy frameworks in a product context, e.g. OKRs or the working backward methodology.
• You base your decisions on data and have defined and worked with success metrics for internally used products before. You are familiar with the concept of DORA metrics.
• You have an understanding of DevOps practices, observability, and reliability challenges for mobile and web applications.
