Internship in Exploring Software-Defined Networking for Automotive Embedded Middleware Software

You will contribute to cutting-edge technologies in a project focused on developing a TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) and SDN (Software-Defined Networking) showcase setup. This setup aims to highlight the transformative potential of these technologies in modern automotive E / E architectures.

• During your internship you will support in defining suitable hardware for the demonstration setup and collaborate with team members to physically connect and configure the chosen hardware and software stacks to enable seamless communication and functionality.
• You will design and implement showcase applications that illustrate the unique capabilities and advantages of TSN and SDN technologies emphasizing their innovative features. Furthermore you will develop methodologies to measure and demonstrate the capabilities of TSN focusing on innovative ways to showcase its advantages to potential clients.
• In close collaboration with Product Owners HW and SW engineers and other stakeholders you will help understand the individual needs of OEMs and integrate these insights into the demonstrator setup.
• Finally you will also keep an eye on current trends and developments to promote innovative solutions in communication solutions in the automotive sector and for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV).
