Gamma is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) : we provide voice, data and mobile products and services to the UK, German, Spanish and Benelux business markets.

Gamma is expanding its UCaaS presence in Europe with a family of businesses focusing on digital automation, delivering Gamma-powered services to SME customers via a network of channel partners in Germany, Spain, and the Benelux region.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to join our expanding team in Germany. The ideal candidate will possess robust management skills and will oversee a team of five employees.

This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in developing and implementing our sales strategy for the German market.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

Operational cooperation and organisation of the tasks in the team in order to fulfil the main task of the team in the best possible way :

  • Acquisition of new partners or customers and support for existing customers
  • Interface between partners or customers and internal departments at Gamma
  • Contact person for partners or customers as a further escalation point
  • Creating a business and development plan for new partners
  • Follow-up on the implementation of the business and development plan for the new partners
  • Attendance at trade fairs and customer events
  • Creation and implementation of product presentations for customers
  • Monitoring the market and competition
  • Internal coordination of operational implementation options
  • Documenting activities in the shared calendar and CRM system
  • Weekly reporting to the team leader or Director Sales
  • Creation and maintenance of visit reports in CRM
  • Representing the team within the Gamma Group organization
  • and disciplinary leadership and further development of team members
  • and contributing to the sales strategy for Germany as part of sales management

What you’ll need

  • Successfully completed technical or commercial training
  • Several years of sales experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Several years of management experience (minimum 3 years)
  • Market and product knowledge
  • Persuasiveness
  • Readiness for action and the absolute will to succeed
  • Conclusion-oriented negotiating skills, especially strong communication skills
  • Customer and solution-oriented way of working
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure
  • Pleasant and competent appearance
  • Interest in technical contexts and solutions
  • Act independently
  • Valid driver's license (class B)
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package
