We are seeking a Lead Engineer with strong technical expertise to drive the product definition and technical strategy of our batching plant product line in Europe. This role will focus on defining system-level requirements, resolving key technical challenges, and ensuring alignment with customer needs and regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in batching plant technologies, including environmental and recycling systems, as well as plant automation and energy-efficient drying processes.

This is not a traditional product management position — we are looking for an engineering-driven profile who can lead product definition from a system architecture and innovation perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical product definition for batching plants tailored to the European market.
Define and manage system-level requirements in collaboration with internal R&D and cross-functional teams in Europe and China.
Address and propose solutions for complex technical issues, including :
Recycling and environmental technologies
High-efficiency drying systems
Process automation and system integration
Conduct and support market research, customer visits, and technical benchmarking to understand application needs.
Support the full product lifecycle : from concept and development to validation, launch, and continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development of the long-term technical roadmap for SANY’s European batching plant portfolio.
Collaborate closely with marketing, production, quality, and after-sales teams to ensure technical feasibility and market relevance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation , or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in batching plant design or system engineering ; experience in a product definition or project lead role is a strong plus.

Strong proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as CREO or equivalent.

Familiar with PLM / PDM systems and product lifecycle processes.

Deep understanding of the core systems and technologies in batching plants (e.g. materials handling, mixing systems, energy efficiency, emissions control).

Ability to work across international teams and travel for on-site support, supplier visits, and field validation.

Strong problem-solving mindset, communication skills, and system thinking.
