ConSol Partners are supporting a globally recognised provider of public services in its search for a Business Development Director for Immigration topics within Germany.

The Business Development Director – Immigration will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities with the German government and different bodies, focusing on immigration and public services projects. This individual will play a pivotal role in positioning the company as a trusted partner for government agencies, ensuring alignment with public policies, and driving revenue growth through strategic engagement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to secure public sector contracts in immigration services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with German government agencies, policymakers, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify upcoming tenders, funding opportunities, and partnership possibilities within the immigration sector.
  • Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals, bids, and presentations tailored to government requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, legal, and finance) to ensure compliance with public sector procurement processes and policies.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, government meetings, and networking events.
  • Monitor policy developments and regulatory changes related to immigration to inform strategic decisions.
  • Drive negotiations and contract discussions with government entities to secure long-term service agreements.

Key Qualifications & Experience :

  • Fluent in German (native or C1 / C2 level) and English (spoken and written).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or public sector engagement, preferably in immigration, public services, or government contracting.
  • Strong understanding of German government procurement processes and tendering procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-level relationships with government officials and decision-makers.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to completion.
  • Experience in a public services company or consultancy specializing in government projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
