RIMOWA is at a very particular step of its development and if you have an entrepreneurial mindset and want to design the Supply Chain supporting the company’s growth, this job is for you! The Team Lead Import Export is responsible for leading all procurement activities of our factory, in collaboration with numerous functions within our organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES :

Manage improvement and change processes :

Initiating and managing cross-functional optimization projects and leading interdisciplinary projects
Supporting and driving the team in place to deliver Rimowa’s expected performance in the field of distribution / transport
Supporting the team in performing their own value stream mapping and implementing new working methods (more robust, agile & transparent)
Driving continuous improvement mindset in the team
Supporting our IT-team in system changes and the digitalization of our processes
Daily team management & performance monitoring through Dash Board & KPI’s
Supporting benchmark and elaboration of a standard to be deployed with other regions

Training

Supporting competence development by developing a training plan for our logistic operations ( in cooperation with our engineering department)

SCOPE :

Import / Export Processes within the EU and worldwide

Customs processes (German regulation compliance)

Warehouse Processes in interaction with cross-functional departments

Supply Chain Distribution planning processes

Profile

Master in engineering or business, ideally with specialization in Supply Chain Management (or comparable work experience)

Previous Team management experience of at least 5 years in the import export field are required

Strong process analysis skills

Experience in International Transport / Supply Chain / Distribution will be a plus

Ability to simplify and communicate on complex topics

Proactive and solution-oriented

Peopleoriented leadingship skills and the ability to motivate employees

Solid experience in change management

Ability to take the lead and coordinate topics with cross-functional and multi-cultural actors

Passionate about engaging people and strengthening the company culture through communication

Advanced MS Office skills

Fluent in German & English (French would be a plus)
